LOL! This is just a new form of Spam. It's only a matter of time before the FCC shuts it down. They start by providing a "free" service to people wanting to get their message out to a lot of friends, like twitter. They build their database of cell numbers and emails then sell them to companies for advertising purposes.

For the warranty call, I just tell them to hold on a sec I'll get my car title so I can give you all the pertinent information. I take about five minutes to do it, then I tell them it's a 2007 Lamborghini Diablo :) I usually get hung up on but sometimes the donk on the other end gets combative. I keep him on speaker while he rants so my wife and son get a good laugh. All the while, keeping the ass from calling other people!!

It's interesting though, that the automated voice stated "Betty" as the sender, as clear as can be, so it couldn't have been computer generated on the fly -- and I don't know anyone by that name -- that is what makes it awfully suspicious.

This HeyCosmo thing is one of your friends spamming you with event invites, sort of like Facebook. One of you're friends has probably signed up on the website and wanted to start an event so he ended up spamming you with phone calls. Tell this friend to stfu.
