This is an unlikely mashup: Two things I love very much — The Simpsons and 2D vs fighting games. I’ll have to say that I don’t like the result. One player obviously didn’t know how to play, the other was really, really cheap. At the end of the video you’ll see the author’s bias anyway. Boo.

Things like this make me want to get back into game design!

I heard through the grapevine that I broke both my ankles — that sounds like an amazing feat. I’m not sure how, or why, but I ended up twisting my ankles and severely bruising my feet. The tops, bottoms and back of my feet are black and blue. It’s quite amazing. It took a week but I can kinda hobble around now. It didn’t start to hurt until the very end, when we stopped — otherwise Bay to Breakers was a lot of fun. I’d do it again, but with better shoes next time.

I’ve hosted a lot of BBQs over the years but never realized how much effort goes into doing a real, honest BBQ, not just grilling meat, but slow cooking and smoking too. I don’t know how the Chairman can handle it all, but with all his efforts we prepared and served a lot of tasty treats. I tried to help, but falling prey to the need sleep, I left him to take care of most of it, and he amazingly stayed up for more than twenty four hours. Amazing. Kudos.

It wasn’t my BBQ so don’t worry if you weren’t invited. I’ll host another one soon, it’s been too long.

Thanks to a tip from Jen, I learned that when using Pidgin as you AIM client, you can figure out how long an account has been registered. Does this matter? No, not really, but I’m pretty amazed that I didn’t have an account until 5/22/1999. What took me all those years? I was certainly online way before that.. I wonder how long I had my ICQ account before that.. damn, I can’t even remember my number, but I remember it being a short one.

Where has the time gone?

Dude, if my ride were as cool as these, all the honeys would be flocking to me. I guess I gotta get started on it.. whistle tips here I come! Wouldn’t it be awesome to have the first bososoku RX-7 in the US? (yes this is all sarcasm) (^_-);;
