To commemorate Bentley’s visit to the Bay Area, I’ve compiled a small gallery. After years of trying to convince people to take the 911 Challenge at Cluck U/University Chicken two people stepped up to the challenge. You can tell how spicy the wings are just by looking at their expressions.. I’m glad I didn’t do it. (^_-);; I’ve got a bunch of videos that I’m going to edit together — it’s pretty impressive what they had to go through to compete. It should be an olympic sport!

The challenge for the uninitiated:
12 Spicy Wings
10 Minutes
No Beverages before start — nothing for 5 minutes after
No Napkins, must lick fingers clean

Player 1: Twin Fisted Strategy — strip the meat from the wings before consumption.

Player 2: No strategy — eat wings normally. Only three wings finished! You Lose.

Player 1: Wins — Perfect completion.

Sorry for the delay. Thanks go to Neil for sending in his photos. Despite lots of drunkenness, fun was had by all. Plus I got to drive Sheldon’s RX-8 again! Plus since he wasn’t in the car I got to drive it hard. (^_^);; I don’t know why people call them slow, but I really want one now. (-_-);;

Bentley is thinking about coming up from Los Angeles to visit, is there anything exciting going on? I’m thinking Friday night we go to Would You Believe to see if any of the bartenders remember him, and then Saturday maybe we can go to The Cellar? It’s been a while. Nothing is set in stone, and if the rain continues he’s probably gonna flake on us anyway.

I’m going to wait to see if Neil can send me the photos he took, then I’ll post a gallery for Jacinta’s Birthday.

Despite being a long, wet weekend, lots of fun was had by all. Perhaps every one partook a bit too much in tasty libations.. but it was all in good fun.
