Hack your Sony PSP (^-^)//

June 29, 2005 8:19 pm

I gave in. I bought a PSP despite all the problems they’ve been having and even though there aren’t really any games worth getting for it.. why? I think the picture speaks for itself:

I did end up getting one with a single dead pixel, and of course, being Sony, that isn’t good enough to be fixed under warranty.

Anyway, if you can get your hands on a firmware 1.5 PSP, it’s easy to do. I’ve already loaded all the TurboGrafx and NES games I legally own onto it. Fun!

Maybe one day soon there will be a game thats worth getting for the PSP, till then, I’ll just use it for emulators.

MmmMmm BBQ — Thanks! v(^o^)

It’s early morning, just got home — still stuffed from that all that delicious BBQ food and late night pizza and Mario Party. I still can’t believe I lost so badly. (-_-);;

Thanks to Mary, Cassandra and everyone else involved in the planning and execution of such a large and well maintained BBQ.

This whole weekend I’ve been exposed to various pets, and for some inexplicable reason they’re drawn to me. I think maybe I smell like food or something. (-_-);;

Neil — as Toad — champion of Mario Party for tonight; I will get my revenge. (^_-)

Bad News for Touge and Drifting

June 25, 2005 2:30 pm

“By Gregg Kilday

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Indie director Justin Lin has jumped in the driver’s seat for the third film in the “Fast and the Furious” franchise.

Lin, who established himself on the independent film scene with 2002’s “Better Luck Tomorrow,” will shoot the sequel to Universal’s two previous car race movies in the fall on locations in the U.S. and Asia.

The new film — tentatively titled “The Fast and the Furious 3″ — will be set in Tokyo amid the underground world of Japanese drift racing. Its plot centers on Shaun Boswell, who, to avoid jail, goes to live with his uncle, a military officer, in a cramped apartment in a low-rent section of Tokyo.

The first “Fast” movie, directed by Rob Cohen and released in 2001, grossed $207 million worldwide. Its sequel, “2 Fast 2 Furious,” directed by John Singleton and released in 2003, took in $236 million worldwide. Together, both DVD titles have sold more than 20 million units.

Lin — who was born in Taiwan, and raised in southern California — directed, co-wrote and was one of the producers of “Better Luck Tomorrow,” which revolved around Asian-American high school seniors who embark on a crime spree. He is in postproduction on Disney’s “Annapolis,” starring James Franco, Tyrese Gibson and Jordana Brewster, which is scheduled for a fall release.

I did like Better Luck Tomorrow though.

BBQ Aftermath #2

June 19, 2005 6:51 pm

I’m glad we killed all the oysters. Near the end I thought there were gonna be a lot left over. Thanks to everyone who brought goodies, gifts, and helped to cook and prepare food. Too bad we forgot about the key lime pie. I bet I’ll get to enjoy it later. ^-^

Very strong, a bit self-willed, independent, does not allow contradiction or arguments, loves life, its family, children and animals, a bit of a butterfly, good sense of humour, likes idleness and laziness, of practical talent and intelligence.

The Life Path 1 drive in this life is characterized by individualist desires, independence, and the need for personal attainment. The purpose to be fulfilled on this Life Path is that of becoming independent. This is a two part learning process; first, you must learn to stand on your own two feet and learn not to depend on others. After you are indeed free and independent, you must learn to be a leader. Many of our Generals, corporate leaders, and political leaders are men and women having the Life Path number 1. The 1 always has the potential for greatness as a leader, but they may fail as a follower. Many 1’s spend most of their lives shaking off their dependent side. When this happens, there is little time left for enjoying the rewards to be gained through independence. The individual with Life Path 1 has to overcome an environment in which it is very easy to be dependent, and difficult to be independent.

Evil Smurfs are good. Tasty and pretty smooth. (151, Grey Goose, and Hypnotic, I think)

I think we’ve got more than enough food for the BBQ now, steak, pork chops, wings, deviled eggs, oysters, salmon. ribs.. I think thats everything so far. If you’re bringing something, bring something unlisted!

I don’t have anything planned for tomorrow, I think I’l just go get some chicken from Popeye’s. I want to make that a birthday tradition from now on. ^_-;;

You gotta watch your mouth.
We have nothing to do with you.
Just to let you know, you almost got your ass kicked.
Make sure you know who you’re talking to before you start talking shit.

Wow. Hilarious.

Lets see. You’re right, you have nothing to do with me. I don’t even know what happened in the past that pissed you off. No explanation, no obvious faux pas on my part. If I did something to upset anyone, I’d always like to amend things, but no. Blocked on AIM, rejected on Friendster, all contact ceased; fine. Real mature.

No one else seems to know or wants to tell me what happened, and thats fine, whatever. I accept that, you can’t please everyone all the time.

Secondly, if it was obvious that I didn’t know who I was talking to, I always could have been corrected. I made no specific comments towards you, or anyone affiliated with you. Why would comments about construction and a lawsuit have to do with you? Obviously I thought he was someone else, so what?

Fine. Beat my ass over an honest mistake. I don’t mind.

It took me a while, but I finally got around to putting some photos online. You missed out if you didn’t make it! There was tons of good food. Thanks to everyone for pitching in, especially Grill Master Marv.

I’ve also added to the site random photos for 2005. Not much there yet, but I’ll make sure to add some more as the year progresses.
